Competition Notes
The winter Broadstone stableford points competition for 2025 – 2026 is an unofficial friendly event – Please note rounds do not need to be entered as general play into WHS
The competion comprises of 8 full rounds to played between November 2025 – Feburary 2026
Rules
By popular demand, the lowest 2 scoring rounds will not count so the overall total will be the sum of the best 6 out of 8 rounds
You must nominate your round prior to playing by posting a confirmation on the BGC216 WhatsApp Group – Your playing partner to score your card – Please note, you must play with another memeber of the competition for your score to count
If there is an official Broadstone Competition (Stableford or Medal only), your round can count but please nominate that you intend to enter a score on the day prior to starting your round. In this instance, you do not need to play with another member of the competition
On completion, please post a picture of your signed scorecard on the BGC216 WhatsApp Group
For the birdie competition, please circle your birdies on the scorecard – When you post your card photo, please note your Stableford score and birdie count for reference
Mats will be most likely be in play but only for use on the fairways
No Gimmie’s are permitted so please hole out
If 9B is in play due to course maintenance – The score can count and the storke index will apply for the hole it replaces
! Temporary Greens ! – As temporary greens maybe in play, the WHS standard is now 3 temporary greens are permitted for your score to count as long as a standard size hole is in place – If more than 3 temporary greens are in play, the round cannot count – Please check before you nominate your round if temporary greens are in play and if so, how many
Following the close of the competition – All players to meet for Beer + Food + Optional day of golf – (Earliest date available from the 1st March 2026)
